12 States Balloting up Cannabis

The marijuana industrial wave has been sweeping the nation more like a tsunami the past 10 years or so, but 2016 could even prove to be the most progressive year yet, for pro medical marijuana enthusiast and medical marijuana entrepreneurs.  Already there are 24 states that have legalized marijuana for medical purposes, and 4 states that have legalized marijuana for recreational use. Well, the momentum does not seem to be slowing down yet.. In November, 2016 up to 12 states could approve some variety of use of medical marijuana. This seems to be at least partly due to President Barack Obama’s public stance, which suggests the best way to get congress’s attention, is to keep legalizing it at the state levels. This would force lawmakers at the federal level of government, to reconsider the current “Schedule 1” level of classification of the drug.

The entire list of all 12 states are as follows

  1. Florida
  2. Maine
  3. Nevada
  4. Oklahoma
  5. Montana
  6. North Dakota
  7. Missouri
  8. Massachusetts
  9. Arizona
  10. California
  11. Michigan
  12. Montana
